DIFFERENCE BETWEEN SPECIFIC AND GENARAL DONATION
Specific donation is where funds or services go to a specific cause, person, charity, or program. Donations specifically are targeted to specific groups. An example of this is Build A Masjid, motorized Water well etc. Funds or donations would directly go to the “Build A Masjid, motorized Water well” etc.
A general donation would go to a charity to help whatever program needs the funding. Money donated would fund whatever program emphasizing a need such as Emergency appeals, Food Packs Distribution, Income Generating Projects, helping The Neediest, etc.
In General Donation the charity decides where that money is best served.
