ORPHAN SPONSORSHIP
Challenges faced by orphans:
● Poor health
● Inadequate shelter and a high labour demand at home
● Poor school performance, stigmatised at school because of lack of school uniform and learning materials
● Food insecurity
● Lack of parental love
Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, "I will be like this in Jannah with the person who takes care of an orphan". Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) raised his forefinger and middle finger by way of illustration (Sahih Bukhari)
zakat for orphan sponsorship
- We accept all types of donations for this cause. Be it Sadaqah, Lilah or Zakat for orphan sponsorship
- Food, clothing, shelter and medical aid are provided to orphans
- Required education is provided to orphans
- Religious education is also part of the curriculum
- Everyone is taught to read Quran-e-Kareem. Hifz and Aalimiyat
courses are also provided - Throughout the year we receive zakat for orphan sponsorship
- The annual cost per orphan is £225, which includes education, food and clothing
