CATARACT EYE OPERATION
● Cataract is an eye disease which can cause blindness
● Blindness makes living and earning money very difficult
● The surgery to restore eyesight, is too expensive for people in poor countries
● Annually, we hold camps over 2-3 days and provide treatment to 1500-2000 people
Anas ibn Malik (RA) reported: The Messenger of Allah (SAW) said, “Allah said: If I afflict my servant in his two dear eyes and he remains patient, he will be compensated for them with Paradise.” (Bukhari)
Cataract Charity
- Checkups are provided to patients by qualified and trained doctors in this cataract charity drive
- If medication is sufficient to cure the patient’s eyes, medicine is provided otherwise the patient is moved to a reputable hospital nearby for surgery.
- Patients can have their surgery along with an overnight stay at the hospital. Food is also provided
- One complete operation costs £50
